KIDNEY PAIN VS BACK PAIN

KIDNEY PAIN VS BACK PAIN which is also known as renal pain — refers to pain from disease or injury to a kidney,
our kidneys are situated in the back of our abdomen under our lower ribs, one on each side of our spine. Most conditions that cause kidney pain affect’s only one kidney, Symptoms of fever and urination are often accompanied by kidney pain.

HOW TO KNOW THAT IT’S A KIDNEY PAIN

• Frequent micturition:
Patient feels frequent urination
• Colored urination:
Sometimes, individual having urine of darker yellowish color represents the kidney stones as well
• Disturbed appetite:
Appetite becomes disturbed as the effected person don’t wants to eat ant food having perception of causing more pain
• Hematuria:
Sometimes, hematuria may be seen in the patient and it can be count as one of the major symptom of the kidney failure
• Insomnia:
Individual face insomnia, a condition of not to sleep.
• Foamy excessive urine:
Urine may be foamy, which sometimes indicates the presence of the protein in the urine of the person. Urine looks thick and foamy like the shaving cream
• Uremia:
Sometimes, excessive urea may be present in the body which is excreted out by the urine. It indicated that the individual is taking much amount of protein in the diet (KIDNEY PAIN VS BACK PAIN).

BACK PAIN

 This can be the result of some activity. (KIDNEY PAIN VS BACK PAIN)injury and some medical conditions.

  • Muscle strain or nerve impingement
  • Muscle strain is often the cause of back pain from weight lifting or excessive exercise.
    In the case of the sciatica, pain goes s from the buttock down one leg. This is sciatica.

    INVSTIGATIONS FOR BACK PAIN

    • X-RAY:

    Used to find out the involvement of a mobile segment of the joint and to see weather there is degenerative signs are appeared

    • MRI:

    It is used to identify the soft tissue injuries.

    • BLOOD TEST:

    Blood test determines about the presence of any infection in the body

    • BONE SCAN:

    It is used in rare cases which determines the presence of bone tumors

    TREATMENTS

    .Treatment of kidney pain depends on the cause. To identify a cause, there are several tools available to help your doctor make a diagnosis:

    1. Urinalysis

    2. Imaging tests

    • WHAT IS URINALYSIS?

    Checks for the presence of extra white blood cells (which would indicates an infection, proteins, and certain chemicals that are linked to various kidney diseases

    • IMAGING TEST:

    Ultrasound or CT (computed tomography) scan provides a picture of the anatomy of the kidneys and urinary tract checks for stones, and helps determine if the blood flow is adequate.

    • FOR BACK PAIN:

    Most back pain is cured within a month with home remedies anyhow, every back pain is different.

    In some cases use of heat might be all you need.

    • MEDICATION:

    . OTC (pain reliever)

    . Muscle relaxants

    . Antidepressant

    • OTC :

    Only take these medicines as prescribed by the doctor. Overuse can cause serious side effects.

    • MUSCLE RELAXENT:

    If the back pain doesn’t improve with OTC pain relievers your doctor might prescribe a muscle relaxant. These muscle relaxant can make you feel dizzy or sleepy make you to feel relax.

    • ANTI DEPRESSAT:

    Some type of antidepressant have been shown in relieving chronic back pain independent of their effect on depression.
